R/K Nestor Tugboat Wreck The R/K Nestor Wreck (16m-20m)
A/B Folegandros Landing Ship Wreck The A/B Folegandros Wreck (25m)

The Apokoronas Underwater Park is an innovative eco-project serving as Crete’s premier destination for marine conservation and wreck exploration. This protected, "no-fishing" sanctuary spans over 60,000 square meters, perfectly combining historical naval vessels with a thriving marine habitat.

The R/K Nestor: Sitting at a comfortable depth of 16m–20m, this 21-meter Hellenic Navy tugboat is ideal for intermediate and beginner wreck divers. Minimal currents and clean layouts offer excellent opportunities for safe wreck penetration and training.

The A/B Folegandros: Resting elegantly in deeper waters at 25 meters, this newly scuttled landing ship serves as the park's deep attraction. It provides a spectacular wide-angle profile for Advanced Open Water divers. Surrounding both wrecks are 44 pH-neutral artificial reef units, acting as a vibrant nursery for local biodiversity.
